Scott Bushnell is an expert in Forensic Accounting with over 28 years of experience as a CPA. He specializes in analyzing, quantifying, and reporting on complex commercial property and time element claims. Mr. Bushnell honed his expertise at global public accounting firms, Deloitte and EY, as well as global insurance brokerages and adjusting firms, Marsh and Crawford & Co., handling complex claim quantification both domestically and internationally.
In 2017, Mr. Bushnell founded Business Interruption Consulting, LLC, focusing on investigative accounting services for claims and economic damages. As CEO and Managing Executive, he provides high-quality claim preparation, investigation, and litigation services to clients across North America, South America, Europe, Middle East, and the Pacific Rim. Mr. Bushnell advises clients on first party claims, appraisal, and expert testimony. His expertise as both an appraiser and a neutral expert facilitates equitable settlements and outcomes for his clients.
Over his career, Mr. Bushnell has enhanced his expertise from energy, chemical, and utility industries to encompassing metallurgical production, manufacturing industries, higher education, construction, professional services, retail and wholesale, and not-for-profit institutions. Mr. Bushnell is experienced with a variety of insurance policies in the U.S., London, and Commonwealth markets. His dedication ensures that every claim, from tens of thousands to hundreds of millions of dollars, receives focused attention.
